Big change - maybe?

Thank god we are near the end of the reign of President Bush. The beauty of democracy is that you get leaders you are entitled to - so we can blame US voters for 8 years of Bush. This is the man who thinks that leader of Free World has right to lock up people in a jail without trial and no rights. He fought war in Iraq on basis of weapons of mass destruction that were never there and tragged United Kingdom and Tony Blair along with him.

At least Barack Obama offers hope of a new USA, a new vision. These are difficult times for world with banking system in meltdown, job losses a reality for a lot of people. I don't expect Obama to have all the answers but what I hope for is that he will try to reach out to rest of world with a hand - not a gun. A start in Gaza and Middle East would be a good thing. Over to you President Obama - I wish you luck and I hope you won't disappoint.
